Teaberry

Post by Copperhead57 »

So I had a sugar wash I done a stripping run then a spirit run. I love teaberry shine but there hard to find now where I live. My girlfriend ordered me some tb extract. I put it in my shine to flavor it. 2 gallon and 3 quarts of 100 proof. Long story short. I put same amount in each jar . It bubbled up and sank to the bottom of the jars wouldn't mix and I put to much. Tasted to strong . So I dumped it in with my faints and forgot about it for a couple weeks. So I ran it yesterday and to my surprise it came out perfect. Going to try another sugar wash and put it in the wash. Do you think it will work.

What is this teaberry you speak of?
🎱 The struggle is real and this rabbit hole just got interesting.
Per a conversation I had with Mr. Jay Gibbs regarding white oak barrel staves: “…you gotta get it burning good.”

Assume this is wintergreen for Americans. Dont see why not as an infusion, but haven’t tried. I would probably put it in the low wines or even a DNS to run like a gin versus in the fermenter .
I just read an article about the dangers of drinking that scared the crap out of me.

That’s it. No more reading!

Your are correct it tastes like winter green. It's a little wild berry
