Those belong in a properly installed backseat, rear facing, protective baby seat. Maybe add some pillows around them for more comfort too. Bad daddy!

PS. See you soon.

Good food and even better spirits! I appreciate the hosting ChristopherC! I was impressed by everyone's skills and knowledge of the hobby, it's inspiring! It was so great to be able to discuss the hobby in person, it's invaluable to swill maker like me. Getting advice from several people at once can't be beat.
Can't wait to see everyone in person again at the next meetup!
If anyone is ever in the Coos County, OR area be sure to hit me up for a casual meet & sip

Thanks folks for the wonderful time yesterday. Great food, weather, conversations. There were some great spirits there that I enjoyed tasting so much.
Chris, thanks for hosting. Was great seeing your new digs and all the cool new options/innovations you have coming.
Here is a picture of the gang. From left to right: The Nothing, Oldvine Zin, ChristopherC, the other Chris, Beerswimmer, OtisT, FuzzNFroth, and The Booze Pipe.
Here is a view of the spirits we shared. .
Chris, I left my blue folding chair there. The one with a little table built in. If you could leave it out when you close down next weekend, I can swing by and pick it up next Sunday morning.

Distilling is illegal here and most of us don’t want our pictures on the internet. Same reason we don’t use our real names. Maybe next time we’ll have a masked ball so we can get everyone in the shot.

The event was a success! It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves and sharing in the good spirits. Thank you all for visiting the new shop and joining in the fun.
No problem at all! I'll make sure to leave your chair out for you when we close down next weekend.

Thank you Chris for the steak. It was delicious. Looking forward to getting my hands on a new barrel. The Street corn was awesome as well, thank you The Nothing. FuzzNfroth, thank you for all of the wine, can't wait to give it a try, we will come visit soon.
It was inspiring to see how well all these people are doing in the hobby. We come from way different types of lives, but can come together with amazing spirits.
I hope we do it again soon. This Fall or at least next year.

I call dibs on this getup
Freedom had been hunted round the globe; reason was considered as rebellion; and the slavery of fear had made men afraid to think. But such is the irresistible nature of truth, that all it asks, and all it wants, is the liberty of appearing.

Re: PNW meet and drink June 2024
Great time meeting almost everyone for the first time! This was the first time I've met anyone other than ChristopherC (and I had met him a few years before either of us knew the other home distilled.)
You all brought some damn fine spirits to share, and as I suspected, I have a lot to learn still.
OtisT, I'm so happy to have brought home some of that Dirty Rye. I'm also in PDX, so we'll have to keep in touch
OVZ, I'm sorry to have spent most of the time across the room from you. Your spirits we're outstanding, I loved the lemon and, of course, that peated whiskey is something of which I could enjoy on a daily basis
FuzzNFroth, your generosity is greatly appreciated. I look forward to sharing your wine with friends and family that can appreciate it. I also rather enjoyed your brandies
The Booze Pipe, great pulled pork! I slapped some on a bun and enjoyed it thoroughly. Your gin was also great (I think they all were, in their own way)
Beerswimmer, your rum, while young in the barrel, was still nothing to scoff at. I'll certainly hit you up next time I find myself in your neighborhood. I really wanna see your still.
Chris (the other badmo chris) Good to see you again, and i definitely should have brought cash for a set of coasters.
ChristopherC good to see you again, of course, and thank you very much for the hospitality and bringing us all together. The tritip is was perfectly executed, and the gleaning of knowledge was second to none. If I learned anything I learned that I should turn the heat up just a bit more. Of course, I learned a lot more than that. Which reminds me, I need to find a fruit press....

I'm not sure how many of you get bdown to the Bandon area, but I just met a guy that sells HDPE food grade barrels for only $25, 20 for vets. He said he has totes for only $75 and has stainless barrels often too. I can give his # in DM's
We should have a PNW shopping thread, where the discounts are.

I'm a bit late in my reply but it was an enjoyable day for sure and well worth the drive down from Seattle. Thank-you to all that attended, and thank-you all for the wonderful drops that were shared.
It was a pleasure to meet Chris, Ben's legacy lives strong in him. With his kindness and generosity in hosting this event it was almost like Ben was there sharing his passion for the craft. Long live Bad Motivator Barrels under his guidance.
