Does anyone know about Glass Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene in food applications?
This pump:
according to a picture about half way down the page, has the internal pump head parts made of it.
I poked around the net a bit for information specifically related to food service uses, but there's just not much there. I found something from 2015 where it was apparently a budding new use but no real info or followup.
My usage would just be pumping wort/must back and forth.
I don't know why the link won't show up above. Searching on google for "Beer Homebrew Brewing Pump Magnetic Drive Recirculating Pump MP10RM Food Grade 304 Stainless Steel Head With US Plug NPT 1/2" Thread (110V)" turns it up as the first result.
Thanks

Polypropylene is fine. My main concern would be the recommended max temp if you're pumping hot stuff. If it's not hot, there shouldn't be any concern. People often use cheap, plastic pond/fountain pumps to transfer fermented sugar washes, mash, etc into their boiler. Many fermenters are made of polypropylene too.

Yeah, the polypropylene I'm ok with. I don't usually associate fiberglass with food contact stuff.
