Hello from the Manawatu, New Zealand
My late stepfather left me his Air Still, so looking for info on how to use it. Had previously been to his local brewshop and have the turbo sugar etc, which having read some of your posts, realised that was a mistake. Have not used it yet.
Have to admit I am a fan of liquers (my fav being Drambouie) so would like to look primarily at that.
I do have an orchard on my postage stamp section, so have access to a variety of fruit, as well as cider apples.

I haven't used an Air Still myself, but they look like a great entry to the hobby. They also lend themselves well to experimenting on things like liquors. Remember that, as you dial in your fermentation game, you can use low-end store-bought spirits as a base while you figure out macerations and botanicals.

. Ferment that fruit. No sugar though, it'll make you a good sip
