New Dutch Guy
Hello All,
Just wanted to introduce myself here, 54 years old dutch guy, been distilling the last 3 years as a hobby. Currently living in Hungary.
I use the Genio ODG2 is my main distiller, use it for rum, whiskey, fruit brandy and all sorts you can think of!
Also have an Istill 50 (old model) i use to distill neutral alcohol
Harry

Dag,
Wait... you're a hobbyist distiller casually running a €20,000 still as your main still with a similarly priced iStill as a dedicated neutral producer? Welcome to the forum... now show us pics in the Just post a pick... thread.

Welcome to the forum Harry .I’m guessing you are joking when you call yourself a hobby distiller
Have you checked our rules ?
That 2000l boiler you have is nearly 18 times bigger than the maximum size we condone for home distilling .
If you wish to discuss this boiler any further , you must include your Distillery Licence number in your signature .

Welcome to the forum. Man that looks like an awesome still. Would be very interested in seeing how it runs.
They do have a 100L and a 50L model, possible he has one of those since he has the 50L iStill.Yummyrum wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2024 1:28 pm Welcome to the forum Harry .I’m guessing you are joking when you call yourself a hobby distiller

Since this is his welcome 1st post. It's for introducing yourself and as it has all focused on the large still and it is automation, it needs discussion in it's proper forum.
