Welcome back.
5g is going to get old quick, you'll have to either do endless stripping runs to get to have a full still charge for a spirit run.
Or you'll looked for shortcuts in too high gravity washes to get more from you runs
I'd recommend 15 at least 30g if you can swing the cost and have the space

Welcome Esther87,
After reading Swedish Prides answer to your introduction post I decided I should convert Gallons to Liters just to be sure of what was going on.
I agree 100% with him, save your self the grief , money and time, buy a still with a bigger boiler right from start.

Welcome Esther.
Definitely do a bit of reading around the forum before you make any purchases, you'll soon see that 5g is a restrictive size for a boiler.

Thanks for the advice. Thru reading 5 gallon is small. More studying before I buy. Looking at pot stills, my still from years ago was a cheap reflux still. Do not want to go down that road again. Also just purchased a book The Joy of Home Distilling from BrewHaus. Will let you all know when I buy and start the process.
