I'm new to posting here but have been reading for years. I actually need some help so I have to introduce myself which is overdue anyways. I'm on my 3rd still: 13g jacketed double wall and 4" column all copper. The first two I built by hand but scorched on grain so I had to go to the pros.

I started this after visiting some good ol boys doing it right and making a better product than I'm used to. I had some apple pie and black strap rum and instantly knew it was better than store bought (and oh so much cheaper). Turns out I'm damn good at it too(after 3 failed runs and a bunch of mistakes along the way). I make a "blue agave" spirit that's like water in the mouth at ~80 Proof and some other goodies. I'm reading here almost daily in hopes of starting my own distillery after the absolute greed around here on property settles.
