Cinnamon Sugar Wash

I have about of 2+ gallons of sugar wash that I would like to convert into a nice drinkable Cinnamon potion that I can give away for either Thanksgiving or Christmas. I know the time is short.

A couple of the recipes I have tried were abject failures. Tasted like red hots candy or worse.

I would appreciate the collective advice of this forum,

I would take a small amount of neutral, stick some cinnamon in it for a day or so. Then add some of that flavored neutral concentrate to some of your neutral and see if you like it. If you do like it, now you know what to do, how long to soak it and the mixing ratio. Test first with relatively small amounts.

That thread was where I was going to direct him as well.
Dissolving candy in alcohol just sounds like a shitty hangover drink to me. too much sugar.

I put 3 quills on cinnamon in 1L of 60% for two weeks, then i remove the quills and dilute. 1 part spirit, 1 part water, 1 part 1:1 simple syrup. Your taste may vary.
