Those look like nice taters. Anything you grow yourself is awsome. Actually. My brother in-law is a produce guy. He buys potatoes when they cheap. Store them at 50 till prices soar and sell and make money. I never heard of such a thing till he told me.

Ten degrees Celsius.
Pretty cool.
I have nearly forgotten the old Fahrenheit measurements...

Yeah. Mostly stored in air-conditioned warehouses for the commercial guys.
I use both imperial and metric, never actually settled on one type.🤣

Envy you those peaches! Tree fruit was hammered this year in the Okanagan due to winter conditions. It has been unusually cool and wet here and a slow start for the garden.garlic is looking promising though! We have been putting garlic skapes in the freezer and on everything we cook lately. More rhubarb than I know what to do with.. arugula, lettuce spring onions and strawberries have been great as well. Some of our sage plants are flowering and I have made a few batches of sage simple syrup, along with a sage rhubarb syrup. Life has kept me out of the garden more than usual this year and I am missing mucking about in the dirt.

I recently made rhubarb geist. It is tasting quite different from what I was used to.
However, serious drinking demands for serious trying.
I can confirm that, after a while of honest attempts, it tastes better every time.
This is definitely not a panty dropper!
In the meantime, I love it.

It's been very wet here also. Makes for a good garden here. Love those scapes. Your garden sounds close to ours, all the goodies.
Happy harvesting 🍻

Got a new toy from Santa, makes life easy. Started spreading soil today with the digger (great investment!) doing 6x 2400mm x 1200mm x 400mm macrocarpa beds. Going to try hugelkultur in the beds this time as we've got timber spare.

That looks like a fun toy. I have never had a frown while on my backhoe. My beds have a little too much snow over them to be thinking of such things right now.

That's a nice new Santa toy, Googe! My wife has been trying hugelkulture in some of our raised beds with some success. We're like 3 years into it at this point and they seem to be improving year by year. Where we live the soil is terrible, gray clay and pine compost, no nutrients and really acidic, but she is determined to grow a garden without chemicals. My grandfather fed all of us from the same patch of ground but did it with bags of chemical fertilizer every year.

I'm glad the grocery store is close. :ewink:

Man Bradster, that's a great garden. Is your hothouse tunnel connected to the back door of your house? That's really cool (or hot 8) )!

wow, that is a nice toy! I can't even think of tilling my garden till early May. First the ground is too frozen, then it's too wet from mud season. (I HATE mud season).

I did however order my hot pepper seeds. I'll get those started indoors soon.

Yes, that's a 40-ft hot house, but not connected to my house. It's out in my garden at one side.

I saw the door at the end and thought you might have it attached to the house. Nice hothouse either way!
