With them interests and hobby’s you will do extremely well at this hobby I would imagine.

Do you plan on building your own still?
What type of spirits do yo like Brown or White? This will determined the what type of still best suits your needs.
A simple potstill is a good start and learning curb into distilling if you are interested in whisky or rum.
Plenty of good recipes here in the tried and true section mate

I'm starting with a Vevor pot still, that my son got me for Christmas, but plan to upgrade after I get the hang if it. I can see already that the chiller and "thumper" are too smallCopperhead road wrote: ↑Tue Jan 14, 2025 4:07 pm With them interests and hobby’s you will do extremely well at this hobby I would imagine.

I like all spirits. Usual cocktail for me in the hot summer is a gin and tonic, maybe a bloody merry on occasion. Then there is the Bourbon or Scotch on the rocks. I look forward to trying all of them.
First up is Uncle Jessie's Corn Mash. Made a corn grinder to grind all the field corn I picked up after the neighbor harvested the field. Got 52 Lbs of shelled corn to work with.
