Want to say Thank You

Post by BlackStrap »

While waiting on a wash to finish fermenting... I decided to build a controller
I need to give a shout out to shadylane (for sharing some valuable information)

This is the controller I finally got together.
With a "spliced" 10 foot (3 meter) 30Amp NEMA 10-30P/10-30R 3 Prong Dryer Extension Cord.
Housed inside a gutted PC power supply unit, is a 40 amp SSVR a 550K (course) and 5K potentiometer (fine) a small volt/amp gauge to keep an eye on things. A DPDT switch that will bypass the relay for full power, and a master power switch and an 80mm 240v fan to keep everything cool...

I'm pleased with how it turned out. Thought I'd share a couple photos.
