I originally joined this forum a while ago but have not posted in quite a while. I began brewing beer in the mid 80s. Moved to all grain in the mid 2000s. I use a Grain father G30 RIMS for mashing my grains and it is also useful for doing beer stripping runs. I perform my spirit runs on my copper 7.5 gallon still that has a 3 gallon thumper and 3 gallon worm condenser. So far I have produced a good Maple syrup rum and a pretty good corn whiskey. My current project is my wheated bourbon that is going into 5 gallon barrels. I will say this up front. I don't do this as a business but I am looking into my state's "Limited Distillery" program. So currently I consider myself a "craft distiller".

Welcome to the forum, Durham.
I am also starting up my Wheated Bourbon now this easter, I would be interesting to hear how your project goes and share notes. Have fun!
