Azure Standard

Post by Rusty Ole Bucket »

I know a lot of you guys use Azure Standard and I have a question. I made my first Azure Standard order that was supposed to deliver next week, it was supposed to process last night and arrive "week of March 23rd". I got an email late last night saying that the order window had been extended (to the 25th) and my order wouldn't deliver until the week of the 30th. Is this something that happens much? I assume it's because they don't have enough orders on the route yet? Hobby ingredients delayed isn't a huge deal, but I was just curious if that happens often since we were considering using them for some of our food around the house. My wife is very interested in the ability to get so many organic products.

They have only rescheduled one of my orders due to a break down of the delivery truck. My pickup was pushed out a day which ultimately worked better for me so that ended well.

Same here. One delay in 7+ years. The truck was involved in a serious collision which delayed delivery for a day. Luckily, the driver recovered from his injuries and was back to work a year later.

I think you're correct guessing not enough orders for that drop didn't justify the delivery.

Thanks for the info guys. The drop spot is really convenient to my work so distance isn't a thing, but I think I'm going to talk to the coordinator and see what the norm is. It's not an issue if I know what to expect. It's mostly pantry staples my wife is looking for so a little delay can be figured into the equation.
