Online Copper pipe/fittings/still parts resources
Looking to get started on my thumper build / still upgrade.
Coper in my local area seems to be a bit pricy, so looking for trusted online sources.
Thank you in advance

I've not had any issues with Aliexpress. Of course, your mileage may vary, but i get pretty much all of my parts from there as most places here are ridiculously and prohibitively expensive.

I really like Copper Tubing Sales (https://www.coppertubingsales.com/), they're reasonably priced and ship quickly. Great selection too.
I've also had good luck with Lion Brewing on Ebay.

I do local scrappie first, but Supply House is next best I’ve found. Excellent pricing, strong copper inventory and 2-day shipping (free for $100+ orders).

Re: Online Copper pipe/fittings/still parts resources
I thought I posted this last night:
Looking at Aliexpress, all I can seem to find in pipe sizes in mm, is there a handy-dandy conversion chart?
Looking for:
2" = 53.97 od / 51.02 id mm
1" = 28.57 od /26.97 id mm
3/4" = 22.22 od / 20.59 id mm
Am I on the right track?

Re: Online Copper pipe/fittings/still parts resources
So, I decided to just order from Grainger because I can pick up locally.
Not sure how the prices stack up, but I have included them for information and comparison purposes.
2 ea 3/4 Unions (10.64 ea)
2 ea 3/4 Elbows (2.47 ea)
1 ea 2 x 3/4 Reducer (21.01 ea)
1 ea 2 x 2 x 3/4 Tee (23.34 ea)
1 ea 2x1 x1 Tee (44.01 ea this was added by mistake and will be removed when I pick up)
5 FT 3/4 Type M copper pipe (37.28 for 5ft)
Total $165, but should have about $47 refunded after I correct the mis-ordered Tee

Re: Online Copper pipe/fittings/still parts resources
There's a handy dandy chart at the bottom of your post. Just remember that 1 inch is 25.4mm and any size can be converted to imperial with multiplication or division.
With the usa being one of only thee countries that still officially use the imperial system, if you are ordering from sites outside the u.s, the measurement will most likely be in metric.
Im now 32 and was never taught imperial and never needed to know it till i signed up here. Memorising the most common sizes is not too hard as there's not that many in plumbing. 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1 inch and 2 inch are probably are all i know off the top of my head. Whole numbers are easy to convert, any fractions get typed into google to convert for me.
For ordering pipe, here's a good conversion chart with some explanation. https://ktnvalves.com/en/dn-to-inches-conversion-table/
If ordering tri clamp stuff it can be difficult though, many places tend to list the OD of the ferrule. As you can see in this listing, while they do list the ID and the OD, some vendors only list the OD. This caught me out a couple times at first, or if not paying attention, and ordering a 51mm ferrule (2 inch is 50.8mm) but receiving a 1.5 inch.
As an example of cost, here's the prices if i was to by a similar fitting locally.
