I took my 4+ yr old rum to my BLAST meeting yesterday, and it was very well received. It was made with 100% Golden Barrel Blackstrap molasses.
My latest rum was made with 2 gal Evolved Habitats deer attractant molasses + 20 lbs panela sugar, and I'm not a big fan of it ... the panela seems to thin it out a bit too much for me. So I was looking for 5 gal molasses and found this feed molasses on Amazon.
Ingredients say 100% cane molasses, $63, free shipping. That beats Webstaurant for me ... $77 for the GB shipped.
Has anyone used Tribute feed molasses?
