The question is: do I feel lucky?

Plastic barrel from 2005/2006, most likely containing cider at 7-8% ABV. It’s been sitting in my chai for 20 years, sealed. Can I use it for distillation, that’s the question?

I guess the only way to find out is to open it. No, I haven’t dared yet. If it would be ok, I wont have time to run it until some time next week and I fear that if I open it the exposure to oxygen will quickly deteriorate the cider. But this is just me speculating.

I guess the real question is: do I feel lucky? What would you do?
