Hello from the Adirondacks

Hello. I was here a few years ago and am back with more commitment to the science, craft, and art of brewing and distilling. Many years ago, I started brewing beer. Then wine. Then bourbon and single malt whiskey, which is my focus these last few years. I have many hobbies. My wife says on my tombstone it will say "there wasn't a hobby he didn't like". ! I am a lifelong learner always looking to expand my skills and knowledge base. I look forward to reading about the exploits of all you home distillers and participating in the exchange of ideas. My second post will be in the recipe section called "Cask Strength Jimmy Red Bourbon".
