Hi y'all

Hello all, I've been fermenting for decades now but I've gotten interested in something a little more... challenging

I cut my teeth on ciders and wines. I was paying obscene prices for store bought cider before this adventure and something had to give. Started in carboys, then buckets then eventually conical bottom fermenters. Loved drinking it but there thrill kinda dwindled a bit.

Im looking to find that same thrill again

What type of spirits do you plan on making??

Certain Stills are better than others depending on what you are making.

Im most interested in neutral and corn bases. Got some YLAY mashes right now that absolutely refuse to behave. In the past i just ran my wine screwups to reclaim any good they had to offer. Not quite brandy, nor quite vodka.

Reflux Stills are the best tool for neutral and a pot still for brown spirits and brandy.
mine you some folks run there brown spirits with a Bubbler...

best advise is ask questions about buying or building your weapon of choice. :egeek:
