Just cant help it but your still, bluc, reminds me of the intro of Professor Balthazar from my childhood, where the little drop travels through the system, or your complicated myriad of pipes, columns and plates. I don't know how many on this forum watched Prof. Balthazar when they were kids?

This is my new still. It works well as a distilator. But rectification experiment did not go so good....too low productivity.

That's a great little stove top unit. That big burner may be overkill for such a small boiler though. I think that would be perfect on a gas stove in the house.

That is a nice little still to start on, and I tend to agree to not use the thumper for now.

And once you graduate to a larger still, it will make a perfect gin still.

I run the gas super low, you can barely see any flame when it's running. My house has an electric range and I distill at camp where I have a gas stove in the camper, but I'm a little leery of distilling inside the camper, so.... this is it for now.

I also have a bit of an unusual setup as I ferment at home and distill at camp in another location. It just works better all around for me that way.
