With the degree of metalsmithin shown already KS, you could easily build yourself a new burner.....

as far as the lighting I do think that would work. and I may later try to do that. but for now I have scratched that. It can be added at a later date...

Yeah, get her built and broken in, then add the frills man.... :D
KS, what size are your brass sight glasses, guess I must av missed it bro...?

Hey Sam, this type of column could be built from 3" and would work well, this would reduce the price of copper and fittings. I have built plated columns using 2", remember my Evil Twins, but 2"is a bit fiddly due to the small bore size.

May have to go the 3" route OD, 4" is just big bucks. Yeah man, this would also save me $$$ on the fittings... :D
Yeah, the Evil Twins,,, Great build...

yep If I were starting over again I think I would go with 3" because of fitting cost. I should have done more research before begining, I just never had any idea they would be nearly as expensive as they are. Oh well if it works as well as I hope I will have this baby for years, Hell I may be buried with it if my wife has anything to do with it. I just hope I get to finish it firs.....
No shes actually pretty cool with it. He she cant wait to see it run either. I am thinking about naming this baby CP30, remember from star wars.. That is what all this shinny copper reminds me of. What do you think? through this whole build I thought well a name will come to me while I am building then last night I looked at the column with the sight glasses installed and that is what I thought of.
Oh well nuff a that shit.

Price of 4", yeah. Anybody else ask about 6" when shopping around? 4" $35/ft. 6" $135/ft!! I WAS thinking of duplicating Rednose's in 6" copper. HAHAHAHAHA!!! Can only buy new in 10 ft. lengths! Not on my budget.

Hey Samohon... psssst. You in the States? I have a little over 3' left over from my build... Somebody, I forget who, Is going to get the other 3'... I might even be able to solder some kind of copper base to it and put a card inside wishing you luck with your new copper vase from the Jethro Bodine Vase Company... :D  Now where's that PM button?...

Hmm, I mean that's not my job Kentucky but if I where you I would forget about the copper flute a day or two and make sure that my wife is he or she.

That can make a big difference.
