I will disagree on that one for sure..

Pot still cuts are much different than on a reflux column..

But still need to use senses to make them.

In agreement there.. smell and taste are still require to blend the finish product..

I should of clarified my statement on cut.. cuts are still a requirement to be done.. it's the amount collected per jar that is different ..

For a pot still collection, one is pretty well limited to collecting the same amount per jar, unless one has some means of identifying where the run is at.. whereas with a reflux column, since a reflux column allows one to compress, amount collect per jar will different, again providing on has some means of identifying where the run is at..

I want to know this jars are tails or this jars is head, you know,I want to know how can I understand that our heads is finish and then hearts is start.
It's what has been outlined in my previous post.. and you have a pot still setup..

So determine the potental amount of alcohol extractable from the run (boiler load), then select the amount per jar you want to collect in each.. then once the run is done, let it air for a day or so.. then start in the middle and work back one jar at a time.. reduce a small sample, smell taste.. then do a blend of the ones you think are good based on your taste..

Research making cuts, as there are many thread on the subject..
