Thanks. It was modeled after a deflag that a certain still supplier sells, minus the different size tubes. Sounds like maybe l should consult you before assembling my projects (tho in the back of my mind the lag time was there). Hopefully its not to big then, if it is guess I will just have to make another. I'm not to bad at building, but definitely need more seat time operating a still.googe wrote:nice work!. That's really big though!, usually for 4" there around 5" long with 5or so 3/4" inners. Mine is 4" long with 4 x 1" inner tubes and I can.achieve full reflux with bigger all water flow. When there bigger it makes reaction times when adjusting the rc valve slow. And having different sized inner tubes might cause the vapor to choose the path with less resistance (bigger inner tube), I don't know if you've used a dephlagmator before?, but you'll be very very surprised how.little water flow you need, when im taking product my rc valve is barely turned on, just a slow trickle. Good luck with the build, looking forward to seeing the rest, should be shinny

Re: Shotgun Design
really!, never seen a commercial one that size, can you share who you followed?, abbreviation if its a sore spot here lol. I'm not saying it won't work, just saying what others do that seem to, I don't like saying what doesn't work cause it always ends up working and bites me in the ass lol. I hope it works ok
. Yeah its easy to build another if it doesn't!. You could always stick a outlet half way like some have too, if it doesn't perform like you want. Good luck mate.

its modeled after a sd super deflag. I'm sure it will work, but it may work better as a different size.googe wrote:really!, never seen a commercial one that size, can you share who you followed?, abbreviation if its a sore spot here lol. That shotgun condenser, should be named "The gatling "
Dephlag is great too.. You won't have any problems with cooling, no matter what you throw at them.
Beautiful craftmanship there...it will last a lifetime and more.
