OK folks, I set up a WIKI.

My vote is that this WIKI be allowed to contain any information having to do with alcohol in general. We _could_ limit it to hard spirits, but why? Let's include any any all topics having to do with alcohol in general.

This WIKI will, if we add to it diligently, become the ultimate alcohol FAQ.

I successfully added a page for "Ethanol" and posted a simple definition from Webster. It's a good example of how any registered user can edit any page or create any content.

Haven't checked out Wiki or Jabber just yet, having too many probs on my end. (My wap and laptop's built in nic don't like to play together nicely.) But I do have two more suggestions to make.

How about a picture forum? I have a hotmail account, but as mentioned previously anyone who'd wanna see my pics would have to have hotmail as well. If I try to use my IP's allowed web space, it would expose my real name, something I'd rather not do given the nature of this hobby.

Another suggestions would be an upload/download page. Specifically for distilling programs. Ya know, some place where folks can trade lable makers, converter type programs, or if some C++ programmer whom has some time on thier hands could combine all the calculators from homedistiller.com and put that in one nice neat package to have on my desktop (would even be willing to donate $5-$10 to do so).

I think that these things can be done with wiki. Pictures would be nice. So would diagrams for different still designs.

just edit the stills page with something like this:
