I have plenty of 15.5 kegs. Just thought the small one looked better. And I do want small batches. I built the flute for the fun, and the do look cool lol. Guess I'll do a pot for the small keg and move the plate to the bigger keg. I did only go 3" for the flute. I figured 4" was bigger then my wants and need. Thanks for the help too...

Small batches always seam like the best to do. When one is just starting out. But when you get down to it. There is a point of to small. And that is dictated by the size of the still. Even a 3" plated column would be big for a small boiler. To make good use of it.

Small batches just keep you wanting to make more. Once you start aging on wood. Or using it to make other things like Apple pie or panty dropper. It disappears on the shelf pretty quick.
