what about butyl alcohol?

methanol and ethanol both consume most of thier btu content in production for little or no net gain we are simply trading tit for tat such as burn trash to get fuel for mobile vehicles etc. we should find methods to produce and use butyl alcohol as it will simply decant out of the wash or stratify out not requiring the costly production involved in distillations or destruction with expensive chemicals like sufuric in methanol production.
