I just did it for a lark, to see if I could, I never use it though, I imagine it would work just fine, but I have a warped imagination.
My avatar is an absinthe grille I made though and
I can say it works great!

The non rectifier chapeteau has a lip inside the dome that catches all condensate and sends it down the worm.
