I have been doing truck loads of reading here and Im curious on what peoples thoughts are on making the best Vodka Possible. No interest in anything but for this project.
Traditionally I have always used a 2" 46" Stainless Column - CM Style. I them triple Distill(Baking soda aswell) and let sit for min 3 to 6 months with a fair bit of Carbon treatment in there also.
However when it comes to awesome pure Vodka i still sometimes buy because i haven't perfected it exactly
Sad i know Now Money/cost isn't a huge issue, its more around the enjoyment of the process and drinking the end result. However if you were to start again with new setup / methods what would you do ?
I'm curious on what people recommend for a Wash to get good quality Vodka ?
I'm also over my Column and plan on building a new one - Again money not being a huge issue - whats the suggestions for production of the best vodka ?
I have a 50L keg i was thinking of using with a 3" Bok Column 40" or so with Lots of packing .. Still not sure around putting a gate and T and a Leiberg for Hearts collection...
