Hey im hoochwagon4 and im new to distilling. if anyone has any tips im open for them. Im going to be starting soon with a internal reflux still. tell me what ya think. im going to be doing rum whiskey and tequila. again any suggestions... I will take them also recipes because I have none

Welcome, Look in the tried and true section for recipe's. They are pretty much no fail recipes if you follow as written. What kind of internal reflux still are you running?

I'd read some more about still design if I were you. you'll soon see that it's probably not the design you want. Especially if you want rum, whisky and tequila.

Welcome to the forum, for what you want to make a pot still is the direction you want to go.

Ive already decided from what Ive been told. I need to have two interchangeable tops for the still. depending on what im running. for some Idea I had the idea that the more pure it was the better. I guess not. I was going for less impurity's and more taste but I guess you cant make your cake and eat it too. soo... I guess the interchangeable tops will be the way to go. any more ideas? oh I was going to run just a generic keg with a pot still top and column top as well I guess for if I make vodka or moonshine.
