I simply want to make perfumer's alcohol. I was told I could distill wine so I have made some wine.
I made a distiller for obtaining essential oils from plants - I attach a hose to a pressure cooker...the other end attaches to a copper coil which runs through a large pipe (filled with cold water) and into a glass bottle.
I'm assuming I can use this to distill the wine. I have no idea what temperature I should heat the wine (low? medium?).
I sure could use some help from you experienced distillers. Any and all advice is most welcome!
that will be a pot still,,not real efficient at making "HI' alcohol , but can be done, just heat until starts to "boil" turn heat down to a simmer,condense/ketch vapors. slow drip best. collect all, several times ,,combine and run agin with less heat.
