I just wanted to introduce myself. I have been a professional brewer since 1995. I am In the process of putting together a reflux unit to use at home. I look forward to using the resources here to here to do it right.

Welcome Gr8
Good to see someone introducing themselves "before" they start asking questions.
Do you have a reflux design in mind?? In what capacity did you work as a brewer?? (beer - wine or liquor)

Re: Self Intro
Thanks WalkingWolf. I'm currently a head brewer at a 7bbl brewpub. I'm looking into designing either a reflux or fractionating out of 2" stainless with a 15.5gal keg. I plan on using an electric element for heat source. I have not yet determined column length or wattage.
My goal is to have the ability to produce a very pure vodka. I'm very excited to give this a go.
