Hi From The UK

Post by mattfuzzy »

Hey everyone,

my names matt.
i currently reside in Somerset within the United Kingdom.
i am 22 years old.
and had various little hobbys over the past 5 years or so (i love tinkering with stuff)
so i guess the reason why im here, is that somewhere along the line i thought itd be a good idea to learn the art of distilling my own "water".
and what better place to start than what seems to be the ultimate web resource with heaps of experienced people who must have atleast a century of collective experience under their belts :esurprised:

i have a few years of homebrewing under my belt, but these are fairly limited to malt extract kits you can buy (could call it cheating i guess to those who have done All-Grain Brewing) though i did happen to play around with various concoctions such as Turbo Cider, Mead (with some success might i add) and the highly "Acclaimed" 20% alcotek sugar washes (even when ran through a carbon filter can still be tasted and fairly unmixable as a cheap form of "hooch") still have 19Litres of the sugar wash in the attic, gotta be 2 years old by now... any ideas people?

i have a few years of IT skills under my belt also, which i acquired in college, but nothing really came of that as a job due to unwillingness of relocating about 200 miles, and complete lack of jobs (or demand) closer to home (yeah i thought it was a crap excuse too  )

currently work nights, so during the lovely sunny weather we been having lately iv been able to enjoy it more, while plotting world domination, and thinking of what i can blow up next (i think way too much, and some even say that while i sleep my brain continues to be in overdrive plotting world domination)

as you've probably noticed by now, i have a tendency to type way too much, so if you've got this far, Well Done :D
Thanks for reading.
