evan williams honey reserve recipe?

What can i say...i dig Honey reserve. Anyone have a clue how they make it? How do they "infuse" honey....I would like to make a batch with my wiskey that tasted similar....should i just try adding honey and sugar to wiskey? Do they got "liquid honey" that you can add like the fake flavors? Just wondering

I'm thinkin OD would tell ya a spoon full per liter or some such thing.

(SCRATCHES HEAD)........But if i just add honey it wont desolve all the way like it is in honey reserve and i will have floating particles...i can see right thru a bottle of honey reserve and its clear as a bell.

I normaly drink Elmer T. Lee single barrel sour mash ...just sippin it to enjoy taste...when i drink fruity stuff like this honey stuff i end up drinking to much because it goes down like candy..same thing with apple pie shine. This honey reserve reminds me of the bottle of southern pride i had a while back....sweet and sugary.

Let the jellyfish separate out and then run it through a coffee filter.

Maple syrup kinda does the same thing.

I would personally disolve the honey in a half cup full of hot water and add it to the spirit prior to reducing the ABV to 65% for oaking and aging.

also if you use "raw" honey you want to skim the wax off.

sounds like a variation on Drambuie.
might be interesting since I like Bourboin more than Scotch
