After seeing that we pulled England for the first round I would love to be there to watch the Brits get humiliated. I'm not really much of a fan but I'm going to be at the brew pub for that game.

Have no idea what you are referring to

You can lead a horticulture but can you teach a prototype?

+1 RD. Scotland is'nt there, but at least we know were crap.
I'm glad at least one nation from the UK are in South Africa but I don't know anybody here in Scotland supporting the 'Old Enemy', sad really.

Well we tied the scurvy ridden bastards. I'm so dispositioned I had a friendly bet going with my father in law. If they won I had to buy him a case of beer, if we won he had to buy me a truck. Pretty sure way to lose a case of beer.

A tie sucks but it's still about like the time we stole the London Bridge. :P :P

Personally I found it very boring.
I watched some of the final today ( because it WAS the final) I mean 90 mins with no score !!! Nil All

Give me Rugby anytime - the Test between NZ and SA was a humdinger!!

However it has just been pointed out to me that New Zealand were the only unbeaten team in the whole tournament

Take that for what its worth

We've got four years to practice, but playing a WC soccer final is rare. The dutch play good one of the worldbest, often play EC & WC. But I'm 40 and in my whole live there have been 3 finals  ('74, '78 & 2010). How big is the change to see them in four years again?
I think, soccer is something cultural. In Europe kids play it (almost as soon as they can walk), and everyone grows up with soccer. I personaly only watch the big tournements, but others watch every game and rather die than mis one. Rugby is not that popular (except the british islands). American footbal??? wel it's in the name, American not europe. Why is it called football when they run with the ball (which is not a ball but a squash) in there hands

The ponu is shiny, but still waiting for the boiler. I've found a scrap-yard who has one. He would delever it on my island last week..... still not here.
This week I'm a day away from the island, and maybe get a change to visit him.
In the meantime I've got time to make new plans, after the ponu is ready, make a new head. This time an Alambiek, with a worm. First things first. When this build starts I'll start a new post. In my head this will be something nice. Shiny copper, swanneck, wooden cask/bucket for worm. I bit authentick.

I must say, it wasn't the best game but no scores means the 2 teams are equal and they have to fight to become a winner. When ther are a lot of score's the players suck, because they make mistakes!!

"Rugby" isn't that the game were teams beat eachother up! Where is the ball involved?

You're only allowed to beat up the one with the ball, of course  great spectator sport, but I'm glad my playing days are over.
