Gday, I'm an Aussie living in northern Germany and have recently acquired a keen interest in distilling. Due mainly to may favourite drop (absinthe). So I will be interested in learning all I can about pot stilling and more specifically alembic pot stills. I don't have any questions yet as I've only been reading this forum for about a week and have barely scratched the surface.
Anyway I thought I'd do the polite thing and introduce myself.
Cheers

Simple potstiller. Slow, single run.
(50 litre, propane heated pot still. Coil in bucket condenser - No thermometer, No carbon)
The Reading Lounge AND the Rules We Live By should be compulsory reading
Cumudgeon and loving it.

Gday mate, I'm from the Sunshine coast (mainly) but spent a few misguided years in Victoria as well.blanikdog wrote:Welcome Devotus. Where are you from in Oz?
