Just wanted to check in,new to all of this.

Post by ottis1969 »

Hi to everyone, I have been reading all of this info as much as I can, I will have to say that it is so cool. I read and re-read and can not get enough. I have to go on vacation and as soon as I get back I will gather my supplies for my still. After reading,I think I want a pot still,The spirits I have tried has come off of a pot still. It is funny that after talking to my mom she told me that my grandfather and grandmother got busted when she was about four years old and my other grandfather use to run shine on the back roads of South Ga. swamps. I will have some questions once I get off vacation before I hit the hardware store,so I will be back in touch. By reading what you all have written has already helped me. I have two jars of shine, one is too hot and I think that is too much heads.Has a strong odor and sharp taste. The other has low odor and very little heat to it,you can drink it like water, but will catch up to you very fast. The second has smooth taste. Thanks again, Ottis1969
