Decided to join and ask a question.
I have read your rules to live by and note that you strongly dissaprove of any plastic.
From a New Zealand brew shop it looks a few years old and has a copper heating element like a kettle.
I will also understand if you delete this post as per your rules to live by.
Would ask if you could please reply to let me know if this purpose built equipment is bad?
Please see attached picture.
This still has a plastic base and lid, also a large rubber grommet seal.
If I am understanding the rules to live by the base and lid should never be used?
Also the cooling water for reflux shound run through something other than plastic hoses?
Any comments or tips appreciated.
