Blue raven , I have also read that one time and cant find where it was I read it now . I know I have iron in my water . I never did find why it was undesirable . Here is a link to the wiki that says " lesser amounts are more desireable"
http://homedistiller.org/wiki/index.php/Water " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow
but it does not say what a low amount is or why it is detrimental .

the pure corn whiskey book says the iron kills the enzymes. IT doesnt give
a value either just that it shld be almost void of iron.
