Caterpillar brandy? Is there even enough natural sugar in a caterpillar to ferment it?

Apparently the feed of sugar young shoots of maple and the such like so there may well be. They might also store sugar as glycogen ( basicaly animal starch ) so mashing them might be analagous to mashing grain.
If it was put in front of me I'd try a bit but I wouldn't go out of my way to track some down. I've tried meal worms & crickets so why not add another insect to the list?
