Distilling in Spain

Hi guys,

. I’ve managed to build Bob Lennon’s reflux still (free plans off the internet)

I live in N. Ireland (part of the UK) I know it's illegal but am willing to take the risk of distilling anyway.

I’m 54years old and in a couple of years time I’m going to sell up and move to Spain for medical reasons on my joints (I need the heat you see)

Anyway I’ll cut to the chase, do you know if it's legal to home distil in Spain?

Hello rkidtech. So yer Irish are ya? Well so am I, in heart, body and soul anyway. Actually I was born in another part of th world, but I'm still very proud of my Irish linage as are most people, regardless what they really are. The Irish do love their whiskey don't they? Well then, there ya have it, I'm Irish too! LOL. Actually, everyone has good reason to be proud of their ancestry, regardless of where they came from. I mean they lived long enough to pass on the gift of life to each of us didn't they? Without that we ain't got nuthin! LOL, Anyhow, to answer your question, I don't know about Spain, but have ya ever given New Zeland or Austrilia any thought? One advantage would be that ya wouldn't have to learn a new language (and at our age, that's a plus)! I understand that both these places have some of the most beautiful geography on earth and the climate is much better than the damp cold of northhern Irland (ya notice that to me, there is just ONE Irland, period)! Just a thought, one that I have been considering of late. Anyway, I hope ya do get to go where you can satisfy yer thirst and be comfortable too!
