Brass Couplers& flux

Post by islandrunner »

I want to set up to unhook the condensor from the lynearm, Is it safe to use a coupler that has about 1/4 in of brass in front of the seat, The coupler is 1/2 size. Or how do you do this , What to use the condensor on a different unit also.
Is there anything you can help clean the flux up and joint to get rid of the acid tast on the 1st. run . Thanks

You can de-lead brass with a mixture of peroxide and vinegar, for no more than 15 minutes, then rinse with clean water.
