is the red stuff inside thermometers poisonus ?
i broke the thermometre while it was in the rubber bung , and it got red crap all over it , it is stained and wont come off . im worried about using this rubber bung ever again.
brewhaus standard 5 gallon stainless steel pot still.

Its probably just colored alcohol.
