Wow, good idea ! I guess you don't use pure methanol but mix it with petrol/gas/benzine (whatever you may call it)?

I use the methanol around the house for glass cleaner and killing mold and other nasties in my bathroom.

1090 - what a great idea!I have a ride-on as well. Been meaning to challenge my neighbour to a race down the street... Think I might have an advantage over him now!

Got to admit though, heads do make great window cleaner as well. Do I keep the missus happy or take on the 'Jone's'?

I recently tried putting some waste methanol I had laying around in my zippo lighter. The results have not been stellar.

Ethanol works great to run a camping stove (Coleman). But it doesn't lght as easily as Coleman Fuel.
