I would like to introduce myself. I am Larry and I'm based in Europe. I'm a newbie to HD but I certainly have learnt a lot from reading through the site and forums already over the past couple of weeks.
My plans aren't clear yet. I've wanted to use 2 or 3 different setups already, but I find the more I read the more I'm glad I didn't go with the first couple of ideas. So my status is 'still reading' and happy with that.
Love the site, so credit to you guys and looking forward to being able to join in when I know what I'm talking about.
I have been walking the same path and I also believe education is key!
Keep reading and ask questions when you have exhausted the search feature of the forum. As you have already discovered, there is a wealth of information provided by those who have come before us but you have to put in your time and be creative rooting it out.
Cheers!

Welcome to the forum, you are doing it right I could have wasted a ton of money on a design that would not have met my needs had I not found this forum before I jumped into building!
Saying welcome to Larry.
Welcome Larry. Looks like you are on the correct path. To learn first then build. That is. Beleave me the more you read the more you will change your mind. Until that finally it eats you alive and you have to put solder to copper. But by that time you should have a good grasp on what's going on. And you will be a step ahead with the knowledge you have learned fro this wonderful forum. Good luck. Be safe.
I would at least wait until you have a couple ah ha moments. You know where somethin you are reading about just clicks and falls into place in that puzzle in your head.
