Infected wash?

Putting older posts here. Going to try to keep the novice forum pruned about 90 days work. The 'good' old stuff is going to be put into appropriate forums.

Infected wash?

Post by WVShiner »

I've got a sugar wash going. I was letting it clear on the 2nd week so I could run it this weekend and I've noticed it's turned a slight orangeish color and it tastes and smells a bit off. It's not thick or slimy or anything, it just looks and tastes a bit off. I wanted to make sure it's still ok to run though I don't know why it wouldn't be other than it might impart some off taste but I'll carbon filter it if I have to.

Thanks guys. I was 98% sure you'd say that but I wanted to make sure.
