Confederate Powder Works Distiller Yeast?

Post by HungoverHog »

Has anyone used this yeast? $118 for 22 lbs!! Been looking at buying Whiskey yeast with ag but thought I'd ask your opinions on this before I buy.

I searched but the only mentions I could find of it were in 2006.

Thanks!

LOL, just figured I wouldn't have to buy it again.

Free samples for the forum to evaluate...

I was thinking about buying a block of some Danstill yeast (how ever the heck ya spell it)for rum. But my vendor seems to be a procrastinator.

D***, that's enough to ferment almost 10,000 gals!! It'd take me 15-16 years to use that much, probably longer.

If I decide to go this route I will definitely be glad to send out samples. Any one want to organize a group buy? I don't see making 10000 gallons. :ewink:
