"Open headed" Stainless keg vs tri-clamp set-up
Hi, New guy here. I am assembling the makings of a pot still using a 15 1/2 gal. stainess beer keg. I am planning on building a liebig and really have no problems in that construction. Also will be heating with electric elements. I am only concerned with the ability to clean the boiler if the only access is the original 2" port. Isn't that why some cut a larger hole and use an inverted bowl? How often must it be cleaned? Between each run? Can it be cleaned efficiently thru the top bung? Thanks and happy brewin'
