HD forums search functions
Is there a feature to click on "Views" or "replies" within a subforum so I can see the most popular and talked about topics. If not, I think it would be an excellent feature. This is a rather common feature in many forums. Maybe I'm just not seeing how to do it. Just to clarify, the feature would sort from most to least replies and/or views.

I use the subsilver 2 skin, which is different than the default prosilver, so I will explain what I see.astronomical wrote:Is there a feature to click on "Views" or "replies" within a subforum so I can see the most popular and talked about topics. Click on any forum. At the bottom, there is a pull down menu, which allow sorting. One of the sort selection is 'views', another is 'replies'. The default is 'post time'
I am sure prosilver is similar.
Edit, just switched to pro-silver, and it is setup the same way. At the bottom of any forum listing, is a pull down box that allows changing the order criteria.

I have a link to View active topics right in my browsers bookmark toolbar... When reading topics I use the Back button to get back to the list... After I make a post in a topic I click on the link for an updated list... That works best for me in most forums, but I generally read every post in all of the forums I am an active member in...

Thanks rad, it's not what I'm accustomed to (as far as location), but, its exactly what I was looking for. I feel foolish now for not having seen it. Anyhow, I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Now I can find REALLY long threads to read front to back.. Yay
thx again,
