hey guys :D

just thort id introduce myself as a new member, been doing homebrew for a while (beer) now im starting to look at trying my luck at some spirit.

going to build my own still. been doing alot of reading on still types and i think im going to try make a still that will be both a pot still and reflux. ill post a pic when im done and u guys can tell me what u think and or anything u would change.

Welcome to the forum, sounds like a good plan and with your beer making background you have a head start. I would suggest maybe explaining or showing some drawings on what you plan to build before you build and ask for suggestions or thoughts before you build it and then wish you had done something else! :D Good luck and keep us posted.

Plans are good, we like plans, dont even matter what you draw it on, if you've got an idea then let us help iron out the kinks...
