I came across this site a few years back and just loved everything about it. I have a short story to tell. After i done lots of research from this site
i talked my dad into us building a reflux still with a 2" col, and a 15 gallon pot.We gathered about 85 to 90% of all the parts.Sadly not long after
my dad passed away. I have seen these items still laying in the corners of his old shop, only a trained eye could spot this stuff and put it together.
After several years my mom, (in cleaning mode) calls and starts asking questions about pipe and a big barrel. In no time i was there to help her
"CLEAN OUT THE SHOP OF OLD JUNK",Well now these items are staring me right in the face, and ive been looking around again and decided to
finish our last project.Im giong to change to a pot still though. Thanks for all the info and ill post up more info and questions as time passes.
Thanks, Bigbossman

Welcome to the forum, I think you should finish it just for the memory of your dad. When my son was young I tried to do projects that would teach him how to but also as a time for us to bond. Those memories will always be with us. Good luck on your project!
