Flow meter/ Rotameter for cooling
I spent some time looking for flow meters on ebay. It seems that searching "ccm flow meter" or "20 gph flow meter" will yield the best results for meters for reflux columns. They generally have 1/4 or 2/8 inputs. They commonly have cheap plasticy ones for $25, but, if you check periodically you'll find lab grade ones right in the range of what you'd need. They can be had cheaper than the "buy it now" ones. Many have built in valves for water control so replicating runs would be very easy. I'll keep my eye out and post them in classifieds if I find any more.

Re: Flow meter/ Rotameter for cooling
Guessing nothing more came of this?
I'm currently looking at rotameters to monitor the flow going through the dephlegmator in my flute.
Not entirely sure what flow rate to be expecting...I don't think 1-7LPM will work as there is not much flow when collecting product, and that's where you need the accurate measurement. Can get 0.1-2LPM which I think would be better suited. Might exceed 2LPM on full reflux, but you're not really concerned with the flow rate at full reflux I would be thinking...there are also 0.5-4LPM...

Re: Flow meter/ Rotameter for cooling
Flow should be rated by temp not LPM. A flow meter isn't really necessary to monitor flow. A thermometer is though.
